During her early college days, Alison Liebeskind developed a passion for designing, creating and painting rich silk textiles. Her appeal for the luxurious feel of imported Italian wools, knits, and yarns, as well as the world's finest imported cashmeres predominate her presentation of hand manufactured scarves, hats, stoles, and shawls.
Originally from Los Angeles, Alison Liebeskind knew from an early age that she held a special gift within her hands to create beautiful things with soft fabrics appealing to the eye. She inherits her talents from various family members, who have successfully excelled in photography, writing, costuming, and manufacturing handmade draperies. By launching her own line of knit accessories through the Alison Beth Company in 2004, Alison Liebeskind established herself as an influential designer and young entrepreneur within a highly competitive industry.
"Once my friend handed me a pair of knitting needles, I could not put them down. Instantly, I became addicted to the art of knitting accessories and knew by instinct to turn my passion into a profession," explains Alison Liebeskind.
